Okay here me out for a second. I run a web design/development firm right. And a lot of the smaller projects that I service for my clients are websites built with a content management system, typically Wordpress or Drupal.

Sometimes it’s just not possible to explain every tutorial in text. In such circumstances we need to create video tutorials. Video tutorials are one of the best means to explain a tutorial. You can speak, add sounds, visual effects, etc. which makes the tutorial elaborate and easy to understand.

I’ve been a very busy bee of late (sorry to the friends I’ve not seen or spoken to for a while) both with rehearsals for The Show Must Go ON and building sets for various acts, but that is not all. Oh no, to compound my lack of time issues, I’ve finally taken up the gauntlet of learning to make movies in SL.

I have managed to make a screencast using Camstudio, compress it with Windows Movie Maker and upload it onto YouTube. Notes to self: Keep things short and sweet, only 10 minutes if I want to upload to YouTubeBe organised and know what I want to say/do in advance - be conciseBe mindful of quality of end result.

my last few (rather boring) posts you'll know I have been struggling to make a screencast and uploading it as a video. At last! I had got to the stage where I had my screencast and I had worked out how to compress it, but I just could not get it to upload on YouTube because it was longer than the 10 minutes that YouTube accepts.
