In an effort to curb Global Warming, born-again environmentalist Sarah Palin has introduced a bill enacting the legal aerial hunting of humans, polar bears, or anything she deems “pesky and liberal.” Okay, that’s not true. However, it summarizes how environmentally out-of-touch I feel the Alaskan Governor is.

As the nation’s Palin binge settles into a sort of queasy, nauseous hangover, we can at least say we are starting to know who this woman is. Otherwise we would have to ask ourselves in a befuddled way: “Alaska Governor? Why is this person trying to get Arnold Schwarzenegger to veto Long Beach state senator Alan Lowenthal’s bill for Clean Ports, SB 974?” Oh yeah, my title.  Right.

If you notice new green roofs appearing everywhere in SF bus stops, don’t worry as they are a form of advertising by California Academy of Sciences.  Seems like a great idea for greening the bus stops but I hope no homeless guys take it as decoration for their carts.
