I don’t like the tone of voice that my husband and I are raising our children in. I know, that sentence shouldn’t end with a preposition, but blah, this post may not have any punctuation. I’m feeling very dumpy and guilty (the parental guilt kind) and I just need to get the words on paper.

This past week has been particularly taxing. Here’s my tweets from late yesterday evening before I completely closed my computer and became very very afraid. “ok, something is making me sick? diabetes medication? most likely the culprit, what happened to my stomach of iron? bah, blech, ewww” At that time, I was just extremely nervous.

Thanks to everyone that started calling and emailing me about this… this is great. And no, that’s not me, folks.

Last weekend I bagged up 2 bags of toys because the boys weren’t playing with them, they were walking on them, throwing them or what ever, but mostly they were just strewn all over the house. You couldn’t even get in the toy room because they had just gone to the door and thrown the toys that my mom would help them drag out during the day.

TECHNOLOGY It’s a blood bath out there this morning. The S&P 500 is at a four-year low as the credit crisis keeps getting worse, despite the passage of the government’s $700 billion bailout plan. The market is taking tech stocks down with it. Google is down 4 percent to $368, its lowest point since 2006.

Thanks to an insider, the Boy Genius Report received pictures and information on the supposed next version of the Amazon Kindle device (known as the Kindle 2 for now). The new version is slightly longer and wider than the original Kindle and has the following button layout (courtesy of BGR): “on the right side, the bottoms from top to bottom are: Home, Next Page, Menu, a joystick, and Undo.
