What is there to do on a Sunday? I get home from work (after putting in almost two hours of overtime) and everyone's gone to Sunset Junction to hear shitty bands and eat/drink price-gouged food/drinks. It's dead quiet in the apartment, there's no furniture or anything here since the old roommates moved out, and I'm contemplating laying on the floor and closing my eyes for a while.

Here is a sneak preview of the poster for the weekend (eclipse records)… Particularly excited for Noah Paster’s (second?) show on drums w/ Lazer Forever. The whole lineup so far has been insane and tonight is a great showcase.

Here's one that you may not have heard yet, it's a tune from L.A. Indie pop band The Submarines. Can you imagine, this band has two members who broke up (romantically), but continued to write songs? In the end, their debut album was mastered by a friend for them as a wedding present in 2006! Very Cool! The Submarines current album, released in 2008, is called Honeysuckle Weeks.
