A little over a year ago, I got an email from the Blogger's Choice Awards letting me know that I had been nominated for 2 awards. One was for Hottest Mommy Blogger and the other for Best Parenting Blog. I was surprised, flattered and touched. Most of all because the blogger who nominated me was someone whom I had never heard of.

Photo by Christel Weixelman Three quick items of business today… 1. Blissfully Domestic’s First Conference If you haven’t yet heard, Blissfully Domestic is hosting its first conference, BlissDom ‘08. It’s all day October 18 in Nashville, followed by a fabulous cocktail party, where it is rumored there will be served a lovely new pink drink called a blisstini.

It’s time for the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards which will be held this coming Sunday, September 21 and my Bloggers’ Choice vote goes to Macuha.com. Hubby and I personally met the ever humble and simple Marhgil and his wife Shella last December when they visited Davao where Shella is from.

The past few weeks have been too much for me at work, blogging and bloghopping seems to be an alien activity to me these days. Although I still make it a point to regularly check my dashboard but I haven’t had any new entries.

I started blogging way back in high school. By blogging I mean just writing my thoughts and publishing it in various platforms like livejournal, blogdrive, friendster, and eventually, wordpress. Blogging was another outlet, another medium to express my thoughts in, without even thinking of what bloggers are doing beyond cyberspace.
