It seems over recent months that my blog gets comment spam. I imagine any bloggers out there experience the same thing and it is a bit of a pain. I have three immediate problems with this and blogger.com. 1. Blogger doesn't notify me of all comments at the time they are posted.

Over the past few months of regular blogging, I have written many blogs about products, services, and people I think are truly great. In fact, that’s 90% of what I typically write about. But the flip side of that coin is that, since I so value honesty, I’ve personally written several blogs that range from borderline negativity to borderline smeary.

I just 50+ emails from Blogger saying new comments were posted on my blog: Up until now, the spam situation with Blogger was decent. I'd only ever had the odd spam comment come through and I had been able delete them all. With this massive barrage though, I don't have the patience to go through and delete them all, especially knowing that it can happen again.

I’m going to try and keep it to a 1-2 blogs each day :).

Okay, gotta do my early morning routine…clear out email, check voice mail, look at RSS feeds. What’s this? I received an email that someone has posted on my blog. Wow, exciting! Someone actually looked at it. The comment was congratulating me on becoming an Official MLA Conference Blogger. Uh, okay.
