As George Will said on ABC following the debate, “They argued about $18 billion of earmarks and that is only a rounding error compared to the full budget”. Too true George. That statement alone sums up the entire debate. The debate was predictable and will amount to nothing more than a “rounding error” in the grand scheme of the election.

I slept late this morning after being up a little late reading the first volume of the Creepy Archives, something I picked up since Barnes & Noble sends out coupons somewhat regularly and I figured what the hell, there's no way I'll ever read this stuff otherwise.

Last night I was lucky enough to have already written the blog in the late afternoon, so I was able to check e-mail a final time, poke around the web a bit and then call it a fairly early night.I watched the new Entourage, which I'd DVR'd, electing to wait and watch True Blood later in the week in case the wife is interested in catching it with me.

Firstly let me confess that I have not really watched a lot of reality TV shows, (I have not been able to sit thru any one single episode) but what I have seen of this genre of TV programming has convinced me that reality TV is the nadir or lowest point of TV and caters to the lowest common denominator.
