MA 8-2-06 to 5-29-08
http://www.bigwavetrading.com/ 2008/ 08/ 23/ ma-8-2-06-to-5-29-08/This was one of my longest big winners on the basis of a long-term hold. This stock rode the 50 DMA and 200 DMA like a champ. It has only recently closed below the 200 DMA after almost two years of a strong rally. This was an easy stock to hold as it gave very few scary moments and gave few “you must take profits on this move now” before finally ending its run.

KNOL 1-12-06 to 5-4-07
http://www.bigwavetrading.com/ 2008/ 07/ 31/ knol-1-12-06-to-5-4-07/KNOL was an easy long to take and an even easier long to hold. While I did load up a bit it was no where near the size of the other winners like HRZ or PTT. Still this was clearly a massive winner and it was just another stock that has helped me make a great career out of trading pretty green charts.

Requiem For a Prospect: Anthony Reyes, Now Traded to Cleveland, Used to be the Next Big Thing
http://blogs.riverfronttimes.com/ therundown/ 2008/ 07/ anthony_reyes_traded_cle…I remember the first time I ever saw Anthony Reyes pitch. It was in August 2005, when he made his big-league debut against the Milwaukee Brewers. At the time, I was already a follower of the Cardinals' minor leagues, but not quite to the extent that I am now.
