Obama begins search for VP, Hillary not on the list!
http://www.youdecide2008.com/ 2008/ 05/ 22/ obama-begins-search-for-vp-hillary-n…Well, maybe she is, maybe she isn’t. It appears to me, at least, that she’s at the bottom of the list if she’s on it at all. Based on Michelle Obama’s feelings and the fact that I doubt Obama is going to want the Clinton shadow on him in the White House, I’m betting they’re looking elsewhere.

Images of Murder and Torture emerge against Obama and his wife
http://www.allaboutrace.com/ 2008/ 05/ 22/ images-of-murder-and-torture-emerge-a…These images are viscerally offensive. But they were not created by those you would expect. The second photo appeared on the cover of a Georgia newspaper. The first illustration was created by a liberal, white blogger at Daily Kos named ONECITIZEN - trying to make a point.

Why Howard Dean and Barack Obama Wish to Eliminate the Electoral College
http://flapsblog.com/ ?p=7029Graphic Courtesy of Electoral-Vote.com Jim Geraghty has why the Democrats want to change how the President is elected. I wonder if we’re witnessing a new Democratic strategy for well beyond the 2008 election — scrap the electoral college (a challenge, obviously) and nominate a candidate who can “run up” the vote totals in the areas Democrats already run well — big cities and university towns.

http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/ archives/ 2008/ 05/ is_democratic_race_close/Mathew Shugart examines often-heard claims that the race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama is “close.” He looks at the pledge delegate counts and sees Obama leading Clinton 52.4 percent to 47.6 percent and concludes, “I will grant that this lead is not a ‘landslide’ by any means.

Do Pagans Prefer Obama?
http://www.wildhunt.org/ 2008/ 05/ do-pagans-prefer-obama.htmlAs Barack Obama gets closer and closer to being the official Democratic presidential candidate, some are wondering which groups are helping to get him there. Sure, we've all heard about the African American vote, and the "Starbucks voters" get mentioned quite a bit.

Obama's south Florida challenge
http://flprogressive.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ obamas-south-florida-challenge.htmlThis is just frightening. And I still don't understand it. "I don't trust [Obama] at all," said Harriet Roberts, of Weston. "I just think he's a snake," said Lucille Friedman, of Sunrise. "I come from Cuba, and to me, when he speaks he sounds like Fidel Castro," said Susana Serrano, of Pompano Beach.
