I’m at home right now, visiting my mother for a couple of weeks. Tonight I got dragged along to help her out at her children’s choir rehearsal at church tonight, being that the main leader is out of town (on rather short notice, I might add).

My breakfast entertainment consisted of a crow and a seagull having a 10 minute brawl on our skylight. They flew off when I tried to chuck something at them, then started up again in the neighbor's yard.Its been a while since I've had a "no sleep just nightmares" episode, so I'm sort of brain dead today as a result.I spent way too much time on the internet yesterday.

I haven’t thought long on this, so maybe I’m writing prematurely about it. If so, I’ll come back and edit this post. Anyhow, I have another example of what appears contradicting to me when reading Olga Bogdashina’s book Theory of Mind and the Triad of Perspectives on Autism and Asperger Syndrome.

What would you say if I told you I’d been off of my anti-anxiety meds for more than a week now? Would you contact the local police and tell them to be on alert? Would you contact the Highway Patrol and tell them to pull me over? Would you dive for cover?

It’s said that people with Aspergers lack gauging mechanisms to read non-verbal messages neurotypicals send out, but then so do NTs! Yes, I am saying NTs can’t tell when someone is beginning to get turned off by their rambling. Oh NTs don’t call it “rambling.” They call it polite social chatter — “small talk” to be exact.

My husband suggested I have two different blogs rather than just this one. Poor guy. I know he means well, but apparently there still are things he cannot understand. I comprehend his logic, but honestly cannot see how to incorporate the purpose of two blogs.

Emeri goes on in this video to discuss the differences between ‘normal’ and Aspergers Syndrome and how she tries to compensate for her inability to read between the lines of social interaction and she examines the definition of Aspergers and Autism and there function in society.  

Emiri made a great video discussing what Aspergers Syndrome is, her childhood and teenage years with Aspergers.  She also goes into discussing how it effects her life, friendships, and employment.  She also discussed misconceptions and myths about Aspergers Syndrome.

Well it appears more and more Autistic People are getting upset at Autism Speaks and there becoming more vocal about it.  This is a video that someone with Autism to show about how they feel about Autism Speaks.
