http://suzr.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 03/ 11/ ode-to-the-alfajor/With Easter two weeks away and me still not eating sweets (ok, a few bites of cake to celebrate my friend Lauren’s birthday, but really we should have celebrated it in December so I’ll say I ate the cake then?), I find myself dreaming of alfajores… I’m not actually going to write an ode as I’ve never been much of a poet.

http://eatmefood.blogspot.com/ 2007/ 11/ let-them-eat-alfajores.htmlI have been very unorganized of late, and it was quite by accident that I stumbled across the Latin American festival today in Melbourne. I just couldn’t help buying a boxful of traditional dulce de leche filled pastries to gorge myself on. Let them eat…alfajores, I say! So I did.
