Our Day at the San Diego Zoo

Adam has been out of town so I wanted to do something special with the kids. The tickets are normally pricey but we took advantage of Kids Free Days (kids ages 3-11 get in free for the entire month of October).

Penguin loves the Boise Zoo

For such a small zoo, there were certainly tons of penguin friends, I had a great time! There’s a fun little display of penguin cut-out style statues that kids like to run around.

They were born at Adventure World in Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture, on 13th September. The baby — who had to be hospitalized for four weeks — contracted the disease from the family’s pet iguana, which roamed freely in their home.
