This latest collection of free vector graphics features a set of three illustrated sneakers with a rough, hand-drawn appearance that can give a stunning and cool effect when used together with your personal illustrative work. I’ve just caught news from the blog over at GoMedia that the latest vector set; Pack 12 has now been released. Featuring a range of scalable vector objects and textures including 8-Bit style graphics, Zombies, Guts & Slime, Halftones, Asian Imagery, Linework and Tattered Scrolls; a real useful addition to any designer’s toolbox.

As you can see from the web design here at Blog.SpoonGraphics, I am quite a fan of the distressed and craft like feel of brown paper. These five textures are straight from my collection of resources, scanned from the likes of parcel wrapping, grocery bags and old envelopes.

The use of flourishes in design has been a popular trend for a while now, but is still going strong with intricate patterns and smooth flowing vines and leaves creeping into designs for both web and print.  Here is a roundup of free ornamental, floral, swirly and curly graphics from across the web.

This is the second Vector Pattern Set. The patterns are composed of basic geometric shapes and come as an Illustrator swatch file. You need to copy the .ai file to the Presets/Swatches/Patterns location inside the  AI  folder. Colourise, rotate or scale the patterns as you wish.
