Wednesday 11 June 2008 We organised this event with the library several weeks ago to try and publicize Interzone locally. I noised it around the internet and Tony, who has had 12 stories published in the magazine and one in the original Third Alternative very kindly agreed to help with a reading.

A chance for Manchester’s SF magazine starved millions to get their hands on the hard stuff. ____________________________ We have organised a lunchtime reading by Interzone alumni Tony Ballantyne at the Central Library (St Peter’s Square) in the 2nd floor Reception Roomon Wednesday 11 June 1-2pm.

From an Alt.Fiction news update: "Derby City Council has confirmed the line-up for Alt.Fiction 2008, the third annual one-day festival of science fiction, fantasy and horror writing, which takes place on Saturday April 26th.
