It’s a cynical world, and there isn’t much to do about it. I grab rare glimpses of virtue whenever I can, but I’m seldom overwhelmed with opportunities. A couple weeks ago, however, we all caught sight of incredible bravery, strength of character and guts, and I couldn’t let the event pass without taking note.

If you haven't seen the flat-out dementia of the Will Ferrell/John C. Reilly comedy "Step Brothers" you probably should. Produced by Judd Apatow and directed by Ferrell's longtime buddy Adam McKay (he directs/co-produces many Ferrell vehicles like 'Anchorman' and and 'Talladega Nights'), the film is spectacularly stupid and almost gloriously retarded.

Sometimes I wonder if online "reporters" would just stop asking about needless sequels would we actually stop getting them? I mean, really? What will Anchorman 2 offer that the first one didn't? Wasn't Wake Up, Ron Burgundy already a sequel or was it just more garbage just like the movie? I don't know...

The Judd Apatow team is back at it. Forgetting Sarah Marshall opens this weekend, and far as comedy feature films go, if Apatow has his name on it, it's sure to be a hit.
