TGS Namco press conference live-blogged - not much happened October 8th, 2008 @ 06:48 With Tokyo Game Show kicking off in earnest tomorrow with Microsoft’s keynote, Namco Bandai decided to get in on the act first yesterday and show off its ware’s for the coming year in Japan.

Namco's Tales team is churning out Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. It's a Wii exclusive, and Namco Bandai producer Teruaki Konishi told us that the game wasn't designed to be multi-plat. In fact, since Namco didn't design the game's memory to fit for the PlayStation 2, a possible (and seemingly profitable) PS2 port is thus ruled out Namco Bandai stated.

The official website for Tales of Symphonia announced that they are currently working on a second series of OVA’s entitled Tales of Symphonia: Tethe’alla Chapter”. Which is a sequel to the four episode OVA series that was released in 2007, and is based off the popular game franchise by Namco.

Back in July I talked about hunting down certain Gamecube titles that I used to own or never had the privilliage of owning. Well I managed to track down another title I mentioned in that blog post namely Tales of Symphonia, after posting a wanted add on The Prophecy Forums I got a reply from “Strawdog” who was willing to part with his copy which is still in mint condition.
