Hi there! Here’s a little something for the weekend for all you button lovers out there! I was lucky enough to meet a retired seamstress at the car boot sale, and she was selling of  all her buttons at a penny a button! I was in heaven! I also found this lovely old singer for £10 I have so many sewing machines now! but I just couldn’t leave it sitting there looking all shiney and wonderful.

There's nothing quite like shutting-up talking about it and just getting on with it is there?  I've been going on about rustling up a jersey top on my overlocker for ages.   So last night instead of going to the gym I concocted this tunic/dress.  I can't believe it doesn't resemble a pile of ironing.  Like; I'm really happy with the way it turned out - blow me down!

I’m reporting live from sunny San Diego, home of the  street-wear trade show AGENDA.   Garbege and new comer Corner $tore Hero will be displaying their new Spring ‘09 collections as well as their wildly successful Autumn/Winter ‘08 collections at Agenda which starts on Thursday 9/4-9/6 from 10AM-7PM -Thurs, 9AM-7PM -Fri, and 9AM-6PM on Sat.

Almost there!  I’ve had some quality sewing time the last few evenings, and the Kwik Sew 2895 jacket is approaching the finish line. For some reason I’ve had to do an awful lot of ripping on this.  It seems as if I’ve made a lot of mistakes that required a rip and re-sew.  Let’s see:  I caught

I started a hat for one of the boys now. I'm not sure which one, as they are now requesting some really loud colors that I don't have anyway. I packed up the majority of my yarn, and these are the colors that I left out. I'm sure once it's done they will be happy, as they have never had to wear a winter hat before.
