    Urban Cab Rickshaw Service

As the price of fuel goes up higher than ever before, why not rely on pedal power the next time you’re in a metropolis? Paris is offering a tiny fleet of hybrid pedal rickshaws which are similar to those in Rome and Valencia. The rickshaw service is known as , and is more advanced as it features a battery and an electric motor that assists on steep inclines.

Back in the States, Back to Blogging

Funny how life catches up with you and then you believe there’s no time for the important things—like blogging! Just landed in NYC last night and am jetlagged so up at 6 am. Plus I’m staying at a friend’s place which is wall-to-wall windows so I imagine the break-of-dawn wakeup is inevitable.

    Paris Mort

A path in Cimetiere du Pere Lachaise Paris Day Three Paris is a city of the dead. History is the story of the dead. More than any city I have been to - and Guangzhou is almost as old as Paris - there is an awareness of death because you can’t escape the past.

    Paris by night

    http://travelhorizons.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 04/ paris-by-night.html

Paris is known as the City of Lights, and something special happens after dark when the sky grows dark and the monuments are lit. Paris by night is even more beautiful than Paris under the full light of the sun. This picture is taken from a room at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris, a 5 star luxury hotel right on the Place de la Concorde.
