How to make safari emulate (not really) as IE!

    http://www.reviewsaurus.com/ tips-tricks/ how-to-make-safari-emulate-not-really-…

    Scrivener for Mac

    http://amirulb.vox.com/ library/ post/ scrivener-for-mac.html

Oh no! Has Amirul's blog turned into some Mac software reviewing place? (Worse still - is Amirul now like Jim???) In my effort to turn my back to my obsolete gaming PC from snatching valuable hours with seductive rounds of Counter-Strike or something, I have prioritized my MacBook, Isabella, as a Productivity Unit.

Which came first, iMovie or Final Cut?

    http://iboughtamac.com/ feeder/ ?FeederAction=clicked&feed=Articles+%28RSS2%…

You got your shiny new Mac, loaded up with all the cool new applications, so what do you want to do first? Fire up iPhoto? Make a song in Garage Band? But wait, you have a bunch of movies that you shot and never did anything with… Why not fire up iMovie? Apple’s iLife suite is EXTREMELY cool, and iMovie is a great application for amateur movie makers.

pc v mac, interesting? never mind the usual pc is not as good as mac, and all that stuff. I had a very interesting conversation with a parent of a student I teach today. her husband is a designer and his computer of choice is a mac, so their home computers are macs. nothing strange there.

    We Need Boxes!

    http://kernjackson.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ we-need-boxes/

The argument against boxed copies has been clearly made, and I completely agree with the popular assessment. That said Indies are missing the boat. A boat filled with users who need workable solutions now, are more than happy to pay and have never even heard of your product.

Howto: Making Your Mac Talk Via Command Line

    http://davebgimp.com/ 2008/ 05/ howto-making-your-mac-talk-via-command-line/

Did you know you can make your Mac speak out loud whatever you want via command line? I didn’t. Here’s how: Open a terminal (Applications>Utilities>Terminal). Type in say eat my balls (or whatever you want, just put “say” in front of it). Sit back, listen, giggle and waste your entire day making your computer say really dirty things.
