   So, if you want to play your favourite song/movie on OLPC use Jukebox.activity. Started working on this for the last few days after Sayam pointed me to the activity. It was almost in a stagnant condition. My PyQt mind was someway different than writing this PyGtk stuff Sayam helped a lot.

   Track OLPC deployments via Google Maps

   While going through a ton of "OLPC" Google news-alerts in my inbox I found an interesting blog entry which contained a Google Maps mashup which apparently tracks OLPC deployments around the globe. Since one of the most popular questions at presentations is where XOs are being tested already this map comes in quite handy.

    I am working on a really interesting OLPC XO/XS trial (all to be revealed soon!) where the main lynchpin demonstration is the VideoChat activity. We are certainly looking at the educational benefits, the interesting impact on truancy, and opportunities for disadvantaged kids, etc.
