Back in the winter I was talking about how I was planning to take a trip to visit a friend in New Jersey because I had been stressed out alot and needed to get away. Well, this summer we made the trip and had a blast. We decided that since it was summer time we’d check out some New Jersey water parks as well as amusement parks.

We plan for a family holiday before the school starts - be it next week or the next day. Since I am taking some weeks off from working this is the best time to go for a family beach vacation. We might go somewhere where the kids can enjoy a lot.

If you live in an area long enough you just get to know what’s best around you. You’ve got your favorite pizza parlor, burger joint, Mexican restaurant, movie theatre, and if you don’t know anything else you know the best amusement park! If you’re in new Jersey the best Amusement Park around is going to have to be Morey’s Piers hands down!

I played with New Jersey waters! 15.08.08 My heart was beating fast as the flight stewardess announced that in about five minutes’ time, we would finally be landing in the land of New Jersey. We just got home from our vacation, and I've got many a picture to share. But first, may I just rant totally off-topic for a moment? It appears that the cat sitter we hired, who was supposed to come every other day while we were gone, did not come AT ALL.

So, we've spent the last few days at my aunt's house on the Jersey shore (Ocean City), along with lots and lots of relatives. It was very sweet to bring the girls to a place that is the source of such fond childhood memories for me. My family used to go down every summer for a few days or a week, when it was my grandmother's summer house.
