Flyers show theres still hope
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 23465-Flyers-show-theres-still-hopeIt was a warm and rowdy night at the Wachovia Center tonight as 21,000 excited flyers fans screamed their way into their seats. If you were at this game and listen and watched the fans inside and outside the arena, you would have no clue that this game was an elimination game and could very well be their last game of the season for the orange and black.

Amid Controversy, Flyers Hang on To Win Game Four
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 23466-Amid-Controversy-Flyers-Hang-on-To-Wi…The Philadelphia Flyers played their game from beginning to end. The Pittsburgh Penguins? Not so much. They seemed to be tanking, throwing away the game in order to benefit the team. They did it in the last game of the regular season, against this same Flyers' team, in order to face the Ottawa Senators in the first round.

Wings-Avs Game 3 Thoughts
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 20895-Wings-Avs-Game-3-Thoughts2224 Ok, so I've decided to make my first blog a live look at the Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche game 3. Here's my thoughts so far. -Wings Score! Sammuelsson scored a HORRIBLE goal on Jose Theodore. Jose keeps proving my point that it isn't the injuries to Colorado that is killing them, it's Theodore.

Avalanche Swept by Red Wings
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 20945-Avalanche-Swept-by-Red-Wings(Credit)The game wasn't even half over and I was already writing a "recap" post. The Wings torched the Avalanche 8-2 to end Colorado's season. But not Joe Sakic's career. He will be back next season. Coaching How is it possible that up to this point, TJ Hensick and David Jones had the least ice-time of the Avalanche forwards? Just ridiculous.

Detroit's Chris Osgood: The Wizard
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 20911-Detroit-s-Chris-Osgood-The-WizardEnd of the second. Hear that? That's right, the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, home of the Colorado Avalanche, is chanting "Ozzie, Ozzie!" because of the outstanding play of Wings goalie, Chris Osgood. I earlier posted a comment on how I thought the Avalanche fans were class-less.

Sharks Overcome Flames in Game 7, Focus Now Shifts To Rival Stars
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 19244-Sharks-Overcome-Flames-in-Game-7-Focu…Wow. There are no words for how glad I am to see the Calgary Flames in the rear view mirror of the San Jose Sharks Stanley Cup Express after the Sharks decisive 5-3 win in game 7. The Express is admittedly running a bit behind schedule, thanks in large part to the Calgary Flames ability to bait

Sharks-Flames: Who Shot JR out of a Cannon?
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 19243-Sharks-Flames-Who-Shot-JR-out-of-a-Ca…This is why the Sharks acquired Jeremy Roenick. He had four goals, including a game-winner, in his five previous game sevens. Now he has six in six, with two game winners. I have been quick to criticize Ron Wilson here and elsewhere. His team had too much trouble with the Flames' forecheck.

Dave Nonis: Out in Vancouver
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 17787-Dave-Nonis-Out-in-VancouverI had a big smile on my face upon hearing the news of Dave Nonis getting the boot in Vancouver. Vancouver Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini fired Nonis on Monday, ending the former general manager's three-year run. Missing the playoffs twice in three seasons, going from first to worst in the division in back-to-back campaigns, not being able to solve the offensive woes of the team...

Sharks Take Flames Best Shot, Will They Get off the Mat?
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 17732-Sharks-Take-Flames-Best-Shot-Will-The…Did I speak too soon? Maybe. A loss like the San Jose Sharks endured last night definitely dents my confidence. I felt that the Sharks would come in and control the style of play, which they did, for all of 3:36 of the game.

San Jose Sharks: Heartless, Gutless, Spineless
http://bleacherreport.com/ articles/ 17639-San-Jose-Sharks-Heartless-Gutless-Spi…They say you cannot win a game in the first few minutes, but you can lose one. This never made sense to me in a one-on-one competition--if one team can lose it, the other can win it. Now I know they were talking about the San Jose Sharks. In game one, the Sharks came out flat and were down 2-0 before the six minute mark.
