Central Coast Wine Tour-Day 7 Monterey Drive

We decided to do a driving tour because the weather had turned windy and cold. We had 2-way radios with us so that we could talk to each other between the cars as we toured. We enjoyed the scenery on the drive down to the ocean.

We planned to dive the Metridian Fields and would swim back along the pipe. After suiting up, we followed Ron’s lead out to where he said we needed to drop down to be right on the fields.

However, apparently if you don’t make your reservation super early, the ladies don’t process it and you make it to the gate only to be turned away. We decided to make the quick drive over to Monastery and see how it looked.
