    BARACK OBAMA: HOPE IS ALIVE!!!

    http://www.joyengine.com/ politics/ barack-obama-hope-is-alive/

I had never felt such a sense of nationalism, nor experienced the caliber of pride that can come with being an American as I did last night.   Call it a coming of age, or just plain disdain for the current administration, but as Barack Obama accepted the presidential nomination, tears rolled and

Barack Obama Acceptance Speech at DNC 2008

Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) accepts his party’s nomination for President, and speaks to the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Obama barely mentioned Martin Luther King Jr. in his speech. Does Obama have enough experience to be President of the United States? See the video below.

    Obama Preaches to His Choir

    http://axisofright.com/ 2008/ 08/ 29/ obama-preaches-to-his-choir/

Last night, Barack Obama accepted his nomination for President and gave “The American Promise” speech.  No ceiling could tame this monster, but perhaps 85,000 mind-numbed rubes at the oddly phallic Invesco Field Obamapolis would suffice! The speech was well delivered, but I’ve seen him better.  Its content was remarkably average for a “hope and change” candidate.

Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have A Dream Speech" occurred exactly 45 years before Barack Obama's acceptance speech for the Democratic presidential nomination in Denver last night. They are two very different speeches given by two very different men in two very different times.
