The LSU Appalachian State football game is now scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, LSU and governor’s office officials decided today.The game is being moved up from 4 p.m. because of safety concerns from potential evacuations from both the New Orleans and southwestern Louisiana areas, said LSU System spokesman Charles Zewe.There will be no pre-game activities, he said.

The latest chatter I’m hearing is on Palin. Filed under: Diary of a Distiller I had a nice time last weekend wandering the woods. I spent Sunday with the Maine Mycological Association on a foray for wild mushrooms, then some hikes looking for wild teas and edibles on Monday. Tuesday it was back to work.
