It is time for the opening of the 2008 regular season which all of us have been awaiting patiently. So what better way to start it off for the Broncos would be a rival game against the Raiders on Monday Night Football? Nothing. That’s what. This is just the best and I can not wait until Kick Off.

Hey sorry my post have been kinda crummy lately. I just remembered yesterday I was like “Oh man! I forgot I gotta put a post on Bronco Madness!” And no real good news has been around. Culpepper retired, Broncos cut Sapp, and little things like that. So I did not know what to write.

I haven’t said it much but I have been looking forward to seeing who would be the team captains for the Broncos. I have to say that some of them are quite surprising. The Broncos chose to elect QB Jay Cutler, and CB Champ Bailey as returning team captains.

The Denver Broncos elected team captains after practice Friday, and a mix of old and new will be donning the ‘C’ patch. Quarterback Jay Cutler and cornerback Champ Bailey were elected captains again, joining newcomers tight end Daniel Graham and linebacker D.J. Williams.

Tight end Tony Scheffler has always had a slow start, and strong finish, to the regular season. In 2006, his rookie season, Scheffler really didn’t come on until draftmate (and camp roommate) quarterback Jay Cutler took the field in Week 12. Scheffler tallied a total of 7 catches and 0 touchdowns in the first 13 weeks of the season.
