Italy is a great place for meditation
http://1000petals.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 10/ italy-meditation-sahaja-yoga/Basically one can meditate everywhere, but there are some places where a good mediation can happen easier. My personal favourite has always been - of course! - India. I am in meditative state in India all the time (probably due to the long spiritual traditions of India and vibrations left after the huge number of sages and yogis thoughout the history).

Rumble: When you think of Venice: Food...
http://theroadtothehorizon.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ rumble-when-you-think-of-veni…Many visitors to Italy will appreciate the food. Not the usual spaghetti or pizza, but the real Italian food: Italy excels in simple but real tasty food. I sell my soul for the sea food, prosciutto (raw ham), the cheeses,... Visiting Venice last weekend, reminded me that this town has its own traditions.

Rumble: When you think of Venice: Glass art
http://theroadtothehorizon.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ rumble-when-you-think-of-veni…One more think many people think of, when talking about Venice: Venetian glass..! Venetian glass making tradition goes way back, but only got really known when the Venetian Republic, fearing fire and destruction to the city’s mostly wood buildings, ordered glass makers to move their foundries to the island of Murano, in the Venetian archipelago in 1291.

Fog Rolls in on the Island of Capri
http://www.flyawaycafe.com/ fog-rolls-in-on-the-island-of-capri/After a sunny day exploring the island of Capri, it was fun to take the chair lift in Anacapri all the way to the very top to take a view of the island and surrounding area.
