Orange offers up iPhone for EMEA
Filed under: iPhone In a short press release today, Orange announced it would bring the iPhone to "customers in Austria, Belgium, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Jordan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland and Orange's African markets later this year." The company offered no other details.

However, it’s not necessarily the obvious draws that are driving me into the waiting arms of Apple, it’s something much simpler. Much more basic. Interoperability. For the record, I hate that word. It was used incessantly by an American coworker on a project I used to work on.
