This is my mom’s favorite song.  It reminds me of all the other great pieces of literature she read to me before I started school.  I went to bed each night with visions from the works of William Blake dancing in my head.  Edgar Allen Poe was another of her favorites.  Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!

Primero… it concerns me that birth control pill commercials are using Twisted Sister music in the background. Sure, “We’re Not Gonna Take It” is the chant I use myself during my monthly cramping. I sing myself to sweet with it’s deeply haunting lullaby whilst pressing a heating pad so far into my gut that my lower back has a temperature.

There are two things I need to write about soon or I will EXPLODE. There will be particles of my body and brain all over the floor requiring an entire cleaning crew. I thought this song was appropriate considering our New Year's Resolution!

Yesterday was the first time I ever did Karaoke. This song (below) is one my brother and his daughter did, holding microphones in their hands, looking at the words on the screen and singing quite well, If I Had a Million Dollars. My niece is eight years old and all I could think was--- she is so cool.

Watch out, keep me away from the Christmas list. I think I’ll just put these on the to-get list instead. I’m not sure why I had never really checked these out, as I’ve seen them a millions times in online stores, and I’ve seen the boxes in a local store, but just didn’t even look at it.
