Tax Stimulus - Wishful Thinking?
http://www.financialzen.com/ 2008/ 05/ 16/ tax-stimulus-wishful-thinking/Well contrary to what the IRS says - I’ve not seen a dime of my so-called “stimulus” check. Tax Avoidance vs. Tax Evasion
http://www.aliyahblog.com/ 2008/ 05/ 16/ tax-avoidance-vs-tax-evasion/I saw a response to my Taxes in Israel II post by “Kalashnikover_Rebbe” on Hashkafa.com: I was actually almost in this situation (in the end I didn’t end up working so it was irrelevant). I would just “neglect to inform” the Israeli government about that income and pay the MUCH lower US taxes.

About 15,000 Stimulus Payments Sent to the Wrong Accounts
http://www.bloggingawaydebt.com/ 2008/ 05/ about-15000-stimulus-payments-sent-to…Some of you have commented that you haven’t received your stimulus payment yet, even though you should have. Some rebates sent to wrong accounts
http://dontmesswithtaxes.typepad.com/ dont_mess_with_taxes/ 2008/ 05/ some-rebat…This is definitely not what any of us wanted to hear, but Newsday reports that some economic stimulus checks are showing up in the wrong bank accounts. Although the direct deposit of most of the rebates seem to be going into the appropriate accounts, the Long Island, N.Y., tabloid says some are winding up in the bank accounts of complete strangers.
