I’ve never been to Sweden, but I’ve been outside it, hence feel more than qualified to comment on the Swedish Outsiders festival lovingly curated by No Signal. Over two days, and two venues, a diverse cross-section of that most democratic country’s experimental musicians are assembled in London; we’d

This week I took the two-day Group Facilitation course offered by ICA Associates. The first day was spent learning and practicing the Focused Conversation method. The Focused Conversation theory is that four levels need to be addressed in group conversations: the Objective, Reflective, Interpretive, and Decisional levels.

    Advanced Coaching 200: Re-framing (Part 3)

    http://getoffyourtuchus.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ advanced-coaching-200-re-fr…

I know, I know - I skipped Part 2! But I didn’t feel worse for wear for it. I was still able to follow everything and didn’t feel like there were pieces missing, so that was a good lesson to learn. I feel like Re-framing is one of the most important foundations of coaching, so these classes are so important.

    Slipshod(t)

    http://livelylivvie.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ slipshodt.html

Today was supposed to be a rather happy day for me. I was going to renew my passport. It has finally been 10 years. The not so happy bit (but not the worst yet) is that now, instead of 10 years, our passports are only valid for 5. The little consolation is that they actually set the expiry date back to your old passport's.
