Google Docs offline functionality is (almost) complete

    http://www.gdocz.com/ ?p=3

One of the biggest pet peeves of Google Docs is making sure you have internet access when meeting with clients or conducting meetings. This has been remedied with the new Offline feature. While it was initially rolled out with limited functionality, it now has full functionality across all Google Documents.

    Why political correctness CANT work

    http://rhyekno.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ why-political-correctness-cant-work/…

“Politically correct” basically means to not offend anyone. It is impossible to never offend anyone, it is however very possible to go out of ones way every day to try and never offend anyone. This seems to be the major goal most politically correct people shoot for. Personally I find this to be a censorship of sorts.

    http://rhyekno.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 14/ x-files-2-i-want-to-believe/

Well it’s here(unofficially), but at least I have the trailer in High Definition goodness for your viewing pleasure. Evidently the trailer leaked May 12th(monday) and it is unofficial as of now. The release date is July 25th(It’s probably going to change ).The trailer looks decent, my only suggestion would be: change the name?

    Updates and Status Report

    http://mereman.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 13/ updates-and-status-report/

It’s been quite a ride the last few days. And yet, I feel that there is very little to report. However, to keep myself accountable for the project I am working on, I am obligating myself to share a status report with anyone who actually reads the stuff I write here.

Google Gears based offline app, boring because it “just worked”?

    http://www.brokenbuild.com/ blog/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ google-gears-based-offline-app-b…

Google Gears based offline app, boring because it “just worked”? I’ve spent the past couple of months elbow deep in writing a Ruby on Rails based AJAX/REST/throw-in-whatever-hip-acronyms-you want-here-application.

Im a fan of Google since most of their services truly enhances the way we live in this technological era. A few months back i was looking for a Blogger client and most preferably with an offline and sync capabilities. However there is none available for windows and some costs a lot without even fully supporting Blogger.

    The Google Hamburger

    http://www.bravenewcode.com/ 2008/ 05/ 09/ the-google-hamburger/

I wrote a post a while ago about Google Gears, and how I wasn’t entirely convinced it’s the solution to the current problems on the internet. For those of you who don’t know what it is, it’s essentially a plugin you install in your browser that, when coupled with some javascript code, will give certain webpages the ability to offline content onto your hard drive.

The Trouble with Google Docs (And How to Fix It)

    http://browsing.justdiscourse.com/ 2008/ 05/ 08/ the-trouble-with-google-docs-an…

I’ve been obsessing recently with configuring my home office software environment just so. Since I went all Apple, all the time, I’m able to benefit from a lot of goodies that are built into OS X (notably iTunes). And developing on Mozilla means that I can do pretty much everything from the command line, using XCode as my editor (which gets me zero hacker cred but works just fine).

    Google Applications …

    http://www.jasjit.net/ 2008/ 05/ 06/ google-applications/

I was very excited to hear about Google opening up its e-mail services for Internet domain owners. This made it possible for individuals and organizations to integrate e-mail into their respective websites and provide huge spam free mailboxes with minimum effort and technical knowledge.
