Mary Wolski was fired as a City of Erie Firefighter in 2007 for setting her father's house on fire in 2006. Wolski is suing to get her job back. A job with Zippo would be more appropriate.

The 647 feet long, 70 feet wide Cason J Callaway left the Port of Erie on Friday to begin her shipping season. It got two miles into Lake Erie before it got stuck in the ice and had to call for a tow.

The crude oil unit will be down for a few days, although production at the refinery will continue, but at a reduced rate. The refinery processes a max of 70,000 barrels of oil per day.
