icanteachyouhowtodoit Today, three slower tracks. I sound like a broken record, but here's two new tracks from Buffetlibre's Rewind project. First is the very 80's Anoraak cover for The Romantics. Also, Findlay Brown's cover of Joe Smooth. Even slower than the first track, we're definitely not dancing tonight.

Buffetlibre’s 80s cover project “Rewind” makes us happy again - oh-uh-oh-uh-oh-uh-oh-uh-oh-uh-oh. They shipped over two tickets to paradise to us in terms of two new 80s covers. One by the fellow the whole FastLife crew likes to marry - Mr. Anoraak.

Sure, the whole thing is fully downloadable here, we just felt like drawing attention the fact that Marc and the gang from Buffetlibre included two new tracks, both of which fucking kill. We are officially in awe at the sheer magnitude of an undertaking like this, and have nothing but applause for the Spanish website for what they've done.

Usually I am not one for pretty boy/guitarist/songwriters, or let me put it this way; in my opinion Dave Mathews Band and Jack Johnson belong in a purgatory equal to that of their middle of the road jam band meanderings.

Lounge on the Farm festival has announced Midfield Generals as headliners for the Dance Tent. They have also confirmed bands for the Sheep Dip Line-Up, which will see up-and-coming bands playing before they hit the big time.

A host of new acts including Lightspeed Champion, The Bees, Findlay Brown, The Shortwave Set, The Bookhouse Boys, Caged Baby and Filthy Dukes have been added to the line - up of Lounge On The Farm Festival. The festival is set to take place at Merton Farm in Kent from the 11th - 13th July.
