    Oopss! Feedburner feed count drop

    http://blog.eches.net/ my-247/ oopss-feedburner-feed-count-drop/

I noticed a significant drop yesterday and thought it will be back up, at the latest, today. It doesn’t go the way it should be though. Today the number of readers for this blog settles at the lowest point. Given the scale of feed count drop, I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one being hit by this problem.

Display Your Feedburner Subscribers With The FeedCount WordPress Plugin

    http://hackwordpress.com/ display-feedburner-subscribers-feedcount-wordpress-plu…

It has become quite the blogging trend lately to display your Feedburner subscribers. Some may think it is an ego thing, but really I think most people do this as a strategy to attract new subscribers. I know many people that auto-subscribe to any blog they stumble upon that has 500+ subscribers, so this is often a very good strategy for a blogger than has already built up a following.

    Netvibes Feed Problem

    http://www.ghacks.net/ 2008/ 04/ 30/ netvibes-feed-problem/

I was astonished to see a dip in the amount of feed readers in the last days and decided to investigate the matter. It has happened in the past that Feedburner did have some problems to accumulate the stats correctly or that another party, like Google, did not report the amount of subscribers correctly.

5 things I learned from fellow bloggers on increasing my feed subscribers

    http://blog.jammedph.com/ 5-things-i-learned-from-fellow-bloggers-on-increasing-…

This blog has been online for over a year but I have not received enough number of feed subscribers to boast. I only got around 10 subscribers. Recently though, I saw how my feed subscriber count went as high as 51 (as of this moment). This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of articles I read from other bloggers.

Fake It and Flaunt It? (Even Personal Development Bloggers Do It!)

    http://enhancelifethinktank.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 02/ fake-it-and-flaunt-it-even-p…

This may be old news for some of you but I thought I would write a post for the benefit of those who may not know about it. After all, until today, I had no idea that things of this nature are happening around our blogging world! As a practice, I take time each morning to visit the blogs that have linked(trackbacked) to my blog/blog post.

    I Don’t Really Have 34,015 RSS Subscribers

    http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/ 954/ 34015-rss-subscribers/

I’ve had a few queries asking what is going on with my RSS feedcount. As I type this article, my feedcount according to the Feedburner chicklet looks like this - Yeah, 34,015 readers, not bad considering I was around 6,000 a few days ago, then I jumped to around 17,000 and now it’s doubled that number.
