As a kid, did you dream of controlling things with your mind? I did. And if you have, then you should be excited about this: the Emotiv Epoc headset. It can connect with gaming consoles and allow you to play video games…with your mind. But hey, what can I say that the guys who created it can’t say better? So, without further ado, here is Emotiv’s Press Demo.

Now is the time when the entire way of gaming is going to change. We will no longer need a Mouse or computer keyboard in order to game. All we are going to need is our brain (which I guess all have) and the Emotiv EPOC Headset for a brain and computer gaming experience.

Emotiv’s EPOC headset will certainly change gaming as we know it. The BCI (brain computer interface) detects brain activity patterns then processes them. Over 30 differing emotions, actions, and expressions are picked up.

What is the future of gaming technology? How about playing with your brain? By thinking. The Emotiv EPOC headset “Brain Computer Interface” does just that. And may find us playing video games, in the future (not that you can’t do it right this very minute. The technology is here) via telekinesis.

Get ready all you hardcore gamers and bleeding edge tech enthusiast. This is something we all have been waiting for. Emotiv has created a headset that hooks up wirelessly to your computer that can read your thoughts and emotions.

I wonder how this has escaped my attention up to now: the Emotiv headset, a new personal interface for human computer interaction. The Emotiv EPOC uses a set of sensors to tune into electric signals naturally produced by the brain to detect player thoughts, feelings and expression and connects wirelessly to most PCs.
