WaPo: 'Nebraska Becomes Unlikely Battleground'; Will Wyoming Be Next?

http://newsbusters.org/ blogs/ p-j-gladnick/ 2008/ 10/ 06/ wapo-nebraska-becomes…
Hey, all you people who planned on voting for McCain/Palin. Give up, now! Electoral Outlook Improves For Obama

    http://northloop.14gram.com/ electoral-outlook-improves-obama

5 days ago I did this same post, and since Obama’s national polling lead is holding steady, I thought I’d run the numbers again to see if there was any lift in his direction. There is. Not only that, McCain has lost ground. read more

    Electoral Map Analysis

    http://papastraighttalk.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 10/ electoral-map-analysis.html

Chuck Todd over at MSNBC has the greatest little toys for mapping out where the electoral votes stand in the race for President. Don't get me wrong, I miss Tim Russert and his chalk board analysis. Chuck just has the Blacberry and Ipod crowd enthralled.

The Tattlesnake – The Reverse Bradley Effect Edition By RS Janes You remember the so-called Bradley Effect? That was named after former Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley when he ran for Governor of California in 1982. Although ahead in late polling, Bradley, who happens to be black, lost to the white guy, Republican George Deukmejian.

The Delegate Math Gets Worse For McCain

    http://northloop.14gram.com/ delegate-math-gets-worse-mccain

First, a video of Chuck Todd explaining it all, and it ain’t pretty for McCain. So Obama basically has 264 in the bag right now. That means he only needs 6 more electoral votes. And just look at these projections… FiveThirtyEight: Obama 333.2, McCain 204.8 read more

McCain camp cedes ground in Michigan

    http://www.mashget.com/ 2008/ 10/ 02/ mccain-camp-cedes-ground-in-michigan/

(CNN) -- A senior adviser to Sen. John McCain confirms to CNN that the campaign is "shifting resources" from Michigan to Ohio and Pennsylvania, and "opening up an offensive front" in Maine. Michigan was always a long shot for McCain, who lost the state to native son Mitt Romney in the Republican primary.

It's time once again for our weekly look at the state polls in the electoral race between John McCain and Barack Obama. Now, a lot has happened since last week's column, including the first debate, the "suspension" of McCain's campaign, Wall Street continuing to crash and burn, and Sarah Palin finally

Pink Sheets and Tears, Pickles and Palin - Things My Twins Have Said Recently

    http://jenuinejen.com/ 2008/ 10/ 01/ pink-sheets-and-tears-pickles-and-palin/

This weekend as I changed the sheets on the children’s beds, I really changed the sheets. From the time they moved out of their cribs to twin beds, they have had generic flannel sheets with little frogs on them.  The color scheme on the frog sheets is for children and not for boys or girls only.

    Hello Cellar

    http://www.intellectualpoison.com/ 2008/ 10/ hello-cellar.html

The McCain campaign implosion continues apace. Remember the scene in the Back to the Future movie where Marty tosses colored logs into the locomotive to make it go faster? That's pretty much what McCain and Palin are doing to their campaign only they are speeding its descent into the chasm from where there is no return.
