Testing ecto - an off-line blog editor

It’s certainly good enough to use on the road, when time is a premium, but the way it manages media is a bit of a pain. I really want Aperture integration, which lead me to try ecto.

Trying out Ecto

I’m also considering making this site more of a personal blog rather than a technical one.

ecto for Mac OS X Sucks

The Mac is far superior than the Windows machine in virtually every way, except for one. I was spoiled by the Windows-only Microsoft product Live Writer.

I was told that this Ecto 1 is the actual prop from the movie. They spent allot of money refurbishing it to get it to look this good. I have seen allot of images of this car and none of them do it justice after seeing it with my own eyes. You can see it takes up 3 parking spaces.

Today we had Stay Puft and Ecto 1 show up at our doorstep. Everyone came out to see what all the commotion was about. The inflatable Stay Puft was created by using our in game model as reference. Its pretty cool to see him in person after seeing it on a computer screen.

Trying on ecto
