http://blog.makezine.com/ archive/ 2008/ 10/ bugging_the_real_world.html?CMP=OTC…

    The Digg Effect

    http://atheistblogger.com/ 2008/ 08/ 25/ the-digg-effect/

The last 4 hours have seen me go through several emotions, excitement, shock, despair, frustration, to name but a few. After submitting one of my most popular articles (101 Atheist Quotes) to the atheism subreddit, it managed to climb its way to the top link. It also made it onto the reddit homepage if “atheism” was a category selected.

    The NeverDigging Story

    http://hijinksensue.com/ 2008/ 08/ 06/ the-neverdigging-story/

Today’s comic is the miracle baby of this comic and this comic. I wonder if I’ve violated any international statutes by doing two “Neverending Story” references withing a 12 month period. I’ll probably get a small fine and slap on the wrist at most.

    http://broalex.info/ how-to-effectively-use-digg-shouting-feature/

If you just signed up for Digg you might be like most of the Digg begginers, and not even know how this actually works. I personally don`t know how all the social networks work, but I am devoted to the ones I am active on and I can say I use them effectively.

Photo by b_d_solis You know for sure - it’s not a secret for anyone - that social bookmarking sites are one of the most powerful tools for content distribution. The first plan or major players like Digg, Del.icio.us and StumbleUpon are distributing tons of new content each day.

    Dissecting today's Internet traffic spikes

    http://motd.ambians.com/ news/ dissecting-todays-internet-traffic-spikes

You Know How To Digg - Now Score!

    http://www.phil-butler.com/ 2008/ 04/ 14/ score-digg/

Just when you thought no widget had been left unturned, JS-Kit released another cool one today. The Score widget is a fairly simple tool that emulates the thumbs up voting widget on Digg. However, this variant is a good deal more powerful in that it enhances the blog or site it is deployed on.

    http://www.socialnetworkingarticles.com/ 2008/ 04/ 08/ the-slashdot-effect-and-s…

The Slashdot Effect and Some Wordpress Plugins to Help You Survive a Digg or Slashdot Effect Have you heard the term “Slashdot Effect”?
