I didn’t get to sleep in, because we all had to get ready for church. But before I got out of bed, the boys came in and gave me a lovely card and a present (the new Lee Child book), followed by breakfast in bed.

Art Courier from Bilbao
http://imageguy.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 11/ art-courier-from-bilbao/When Art Museums lend works for exhibitions overseas a courier usually must travel with the work, both over and back. Ken Miller on Expelled
http://www.energionpubs.com/ wordpress/ ?p=1321Dr. Kenneth Miller has a review of Expelled! in the Boston Globe, and it’s a good one. It’s short and to the point. I've been looking into several different methods of doing this, including silk screening, and heat transfers. My question is, what method will produce the highest quality print, that optimizes breathability, comfort, and durability?

The Great Ceiling Fan Debate
http://design-mind.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ great-ceiling-fan-debate.htmlMy husband and I have been discussing the issue of whether to install a hanging light or ceiling fan with a light in our master bedroom, which has extremely high ceilings. I was against a ceiling fan for purely aesthetic reasons.

Welcome to the New We Got Served!
http://www.wegotserved.co.uk/ 2008/ 05/ 11/ welcome-to-the-new-we-got-served/I thought it was about time we did a little design work on the site. The old design had been around for well over a year, and was starting to feel a little cramped. This new design is a lot more spacious and looks a little more professional - I’ve also finally managed to sort out a proper logo for the site too.

China Design Now
http://www.creativereview.co.uk/ crblog/ china-design-now/Lam Hung’s Peace of Mind poster for a Zen Buddhist centre, Hong Kong, 2001 The V&A’s current flagship exhibition has a very clear, chronological layout, which is a little surprising considering its slightly clumsy title.
