   TiVo has won their patent infringement lawsuit against Dish Network. The DVR service provider claimed victory after the Supreme Court refused to hear Dish Network’s request to invalidate the 2006 Texas District Court ruling that Dish was indeed guilty of violating TiVo’s patent for the technology that allows a TV viewer to tape a program while watching another.

   722 DVR recording reboots constantly

   The 722 that I just received from DISH constantly reboots when I am recording a program on the DVR. During a hour program, the receiver will go power off, reboot and then go thru tests 1-5, then start recording again all without customer input. This happens 3 or 4 times during all recordings but only during DVR recording.

    I had been waiting for Airtel to launch their DTH services. The company has already massively delayed their IPTV service launch. Airtel has made some interesting offers. They are offering a universal remote control which should remove the hassle for most people to manage two remotes.
