    County commissioners unanimously agreed Tuesday morning to officially name Bertha Henry the new county administrator and give her a huge pay raise. Henry, a South Florida native, has long served as the No. 2 person in county government and has held the top job in an interim capacity since Pam Brangaccio suddenly resigned under pressure a year ago.

    Bertha Henry will be receiving a huge pay raise when she takes her new job as the top employee in Broward County government. County commissioners will consider Tuesday a $290,000 annual salary for Henry as county administrator. The last full-time administrator, Pam Brangaccio, earned $232,500 a year before she resigned under pressure last fall.

    I guess Chad Gramling doesn’t like me because I think Harrison Square is freakin’ farce. I suppose since he’s a baseball wing nut, (he wrote the book Baseball in Fort Wayne) it’s perfectly fine to feel that way. Today he has a list of *all* of the discussions surrounding the absolutely stupid name of Tin Caps for the Fort Wayne Wizards.
