Over the past few years social voting sites have come to the forefront. Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon have became a place to read the latest news and happenings around the world. With large social sites, it is common for many unknown websites to be overlooked for larger, more trusted sources.

Imagine that you just finished writing what you think is a pretty good post. You spend some quality time researching your topic. You double and triple check your spelling and grammar. For this post, you even broke open a thesaurus to make sure that you didn’t repeat a single word.
