Looking down on a jungle ... the Barbican ?!?!
http://londondailyphoto.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ looking-down-on-jungle-barbican.…Just back off holiday, but haven't caught up with myself yet. Barbican Oasis
http://londondailyphoto.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ barbican-oasis.htmlWhile I'm on holiday, a series of photographs of the quirky or surprising taken along the route of High Street 2012. To find out more about HS2012, visit Diamond Geezer. The Barbican is a strange place, combining the forbidding with inviting, kitch and exquisite design, hustle and calm.

Saturday Night Fever?
http://londondailyphoto.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ saturday-night-fever.htmlWhile I'm on holiday, a series of photographs of the quirky or surprising taken along the route of High Street 2012. To find out more about HS2012, visit Diamond Geezer. If you think there's something wrong about this photo, I've turned it upside-down. It's not a dancefloor, but the lighting in the Barbican Centre.

http://ontolondon.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ house-of-viktor-rolf-at-barbican-qype.…The House of Viktor & Rolf at BarbicanChris OsburnQype does LondonAugust 11th 2008What made the V&R exhibition so creepy (for me anyway), was their use of dolls, dolls and more dolls. The central feature of the show was a giant dollhouse with all sorts of cutesy dolls wearing mini-me versions of V&R’s off-kilter designs.

Inure walkways, you cannot ....
http://inureface.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 07/ inure-walkways-you-cannot.htmlI work for the Barbican Centre in London. It is the largest multi-arts centre in Europe, featuring art, film, music, theatre, dance and education all under one roof and under one creative direction. Now, as it's an old building, and also, being named the Barbican - it was originally designed to keep everything inside, and to exist as a utopia for residents.

Carry on carrying on
http://www.astrofiammante.net/ blog/ carry-on-carrying-on-post74/A few years ago, the process of reclaiming the Carry On oeuvre was launched in fine fashion. No less an institution than The Barbican Cinema in London decided to have a retrospective of the full 30 films. This was a big deal.
