In Michigan, since October 2003, there’s been a diabolical little law in place called the, Michigan Driver’s Responsibility Law. This devious program was put into effect to supposedly tax unsafe drivers for negligent or dangerous driving conduct.

So, was yesterday today National Stupid Day, and nobody bothered to tell me? Because that's what it seems like. I encountered scores of idiots yesterday. I swear, one of these days, the massive amount of stupidity that I have to deal with is going to drive me insane, and I am either going to have an aneurysm, or I am going to start killing people with a machete.

Miss Crazy being myself. So, needless to say I am in actuality driving other drivers crazy with my inability to correctly accellerate with my five-speed vehicle. I really do hope that 'practice makes perfect' because I will be practicing every day for the rest of my life until this vehicle dies.

Have you ever had the pleasure of following someone in a fast lane who has decided that 45 is a safe speed? Have you ever wondered just when a person was going to decide which lane they should be in? Chances are, you were dealing with a dipshit. Dipshits can’t drive like normal people.

This morning, after viewing The Tree That Tried To Eat the Apartment Building, I headed off to work, as is my wont. I've never been fond of traffic circles, but just about any way I approach the office, I have to go through at least one.

This evening, a charming lady threatened to "break your other arm, bitch" when I pointed out that she was parked a)in a bus stop and b)blocking a crosswalk (she was also too close to a street corner.) After I took a photo of her plate, she got out of her car and followed me for about a block down Centre Street continuing her tirade.

An edited version of this piece was originally published in late October 2007 as a ”Letter of the Day” in the Penticton Herald. This is the original unedited version… I witnessed an incident on October 26th which sufficiently proves to me that the majority of Penticton drivers are either driving without a licence or are no longer qualified to hold a licence.
