'HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU' painting on canvas
http://indigoblah.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ heres-looking-at-you-painting-on-canva…I finally finished this a couple of days ago and it's almost all I wanted it to be. I've never yet been totally satisfied with any of my paintings, but that's no bad thing .... just gets me going on the next one. I'm happy with the direction of this series of paintings. It started with 'Then' and 'Inside Out'.

What's in an Abstract?
http://abbycreek-art.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ whats-in-abstract.html"Inner Circle #7" 6" x 7" acrylic and collage on canvas available in my Etsy store here Finally making an appearance today..."Inner Circle #7"! When people see one of my abstracts they will sometimes ask..."well what is it?" I have to laugh because I don't know quite what the heck it is either so it's a hard question to answer!

Some further decorative elements have been added and details. Next session should bring this to completion when I add the contents of the centre framed area.

Crossroads of Time - II
http://gaizabonts.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 07/ crossroads-of-time-ii/The last time I wrote about the naughty nature of time when it stands us at an intersection, I was thinking two-dimensional. Along comes a comment from Citric Acid, that perhaps it was my folly — not considering the third plane. It gave rise to an interesting, though tangential discussion about choice, consciousness and such.

Getting to Into
http://slowmuse.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 04/ getting-to-into/My work has a close relationship to landscape, but it is not a direct one. People often talk about a certain place and say something like, “It is so beautiful, you really can’t capture it in a photograph.” What is it that can’t be captured by a representational process like photography?

Optic Daisies
http://jezlyn.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 04/ optic-daisies/Optic Daisies Still procrastinating sifting through all the pictures I took at NAIAS 2008 (Detroit Auto Show). But this is my favorite picture from there, and the only Polaroid I took at the show. We were walking around and stopped in this lounge area in the Lexus exhibit, and I dropped everything so I could take a picture of the ceiling above the comfy chairs.
