8 Stocks to Buy if McCain Wins
http://seekingalpha.com/ article/ 93827-8-stocks-to-buy-if-mccain-wins?source=fe…This week's article will be short and to the point. I’m at the Republican National Convention and so far there is not a whole lot to report on. To date, Hurricane Gustav has had everybody focused on issues bigger than politics. However, as the Gulf Coast appears to have been spared the worst of Gustav’s wrath, the talk once again is returning to the political issues.

Let's See If We Get Some Downside Follow-through Tomorrow
http://www.chartswingtrader.com/ 2008/ 09/ lets-see-if-we-get-some-downside-foll…Good evening traders. Here are the major indices, which do not look very good to me right now. The Energy Resources Are Out There
http://www.dailyreckoning.com.au/ energy-resources-out-there/ 2008/ 08/ 28/In the world of energy and scarcity, the name of the next president of the United States will matter quite a bit. "People are policy," as Ronald Reagan used to say. But then again, a lot of energy and scarcity facts defy party labels. The energy resources are out there. They are what they are and where they are.

http://www.chartswingtrader.com/ 2008/ 08/ what-frustrating-market.htmlAfter going through my scans, I can say that I can't remember a market that I have been more frustrated or bored with (I am not sure which word fits better). There just isn't much out there that looks good on either side, and I continue to have very little feeling either way of where we will head the next day.

Commodities Running Into Overhead Resistance, Could Pullback Here
http://www.chartswingtrader.com/ 2008/ 08/ commodities-running-into-overhead.htm…Good evening traders. Here are the major indices. I kind of see two different stories on the Nasdaq and S&P 500. The Nasdaq has pulled back rather significantly over the past week but volume has been below average. I could see this bouncing soon, perhaps back up to test the 200 day moving average, much like it did back in June before crashing for real.
