“For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37) COMMENT: A couple of startling events got my full attention a few weeks ago. Firstly, in Miami, a premature baby, only slightly longer than a ballpoint pen at birth, was sent home from the hospital after 4 months of intensive care.

They were all speaking well of Him and were amazed by the gracious words that came from His mouth, yet they said, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” (Luke 4:22) Have you ever noticed how we expect big things from important, well-known people (and aren’t the least bit surprised by it), but don’t expect “regular” people to have anything important to say or do?

Read 1 Timothy 4:11-16 From the text, what particular “comfort zone” do you think Timothy had to step out of?  In what areas was Timothy to set an example according to verse 12?  Which of those areas presents the greatest challenge for you personally?  In what way?

And where will they take place? The marriage partners at this glorious event include the Lamb (Christ) (Ephesians 5:25-33) and His bride (the Church)-both of whom have been in heaven during the Tribulation Hour. While those on earth have suffered judgment, the Bride is being investigated in preparation for the wedding (Revelation 19:7).

My friends do not believe in the "blessed hope" - the return of Christ to claim His own. I need additional verses that speak specifically of the Rapture. We sent our only delegate to the Republican caucus today. My husband and I were too sick to leave the house. But our 18-year-old son went. And he probably understands the whole primary and caucus thing better than I do. It helps to be taking a college American government class. He didn't just watch from the sidelines.
