"Jihad to Israel" spray-painted on London synagogues

http://www.jihadwatch.org/ archives/ 021036.php
"Here we do not have any problem with Arabs - there has never been anything like this before, but now we are worried." "Synagogue walls daubed with anti-Jewish graffiti," by Benedict Moore-Bridger and Robert Mendick in the Evening Standard, May 15 (thanks to Ted): London's Jewish community has been targeted by a wave of anti-Semitic graffiti. ...

BLU’s Muto: animation on a public wall. Beautiful surely, but I couldn’t help but think about all the artwork he covered up to make it (I know, it’s a public wall, it comes with the territory.) Thanks to Ry-Tron and everyone else who sent this in! The Octo-Dog Frankfurter Converter.

    Graffiti Coloring Book

    http://whatyouwrite.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 16/ graffiti-coloring-book/

Here is the book where you can decide how graffiti should be colored yourself. More than sixty of the best graffiti writers in Scandinavia have done sketches with thick black contours for this classic and unusual coloring book.

    A cool video by BLU

    http://mojoey.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ cool-video-by-blu.html

MUTO - is a wall-painted animation by BLU. My son turned me on to this amazing animation painted on public walls in Buenos Aires and in Baden. Take five minutes and give yourself an art break. Check out Blublu.org or the blu blog for more information.

    The Process is the Product

    http://carrotrevolution.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ process-is-product.html

Just about all my favorite websites have already posted this video, but if you haven't seen it yet, give it a look and you'll see just why it has been so popular. MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo. Sometimes when looking at a work of art, its hard to conceptualize the amount of work that has gone into it.

    ESPO Beautifies Dublin

    http://kitsunenoir.com/ blog/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ espo-beautifies-dublin/

Talk about subversion… ESPO last year was rewarded a Fulbright Scholarship to go to Dublin to work on a public art project. Well, the public is involved, and art is certainly involved, but I’m not sure that the Fulbright folks had the above kind of work in mind when handing over the grant.

Ideas - Exchanges- Experiences - Muto

    http://thebookmann.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 04/ ideas-exchanges-experiences-muto.html

A short animation uses the creative means of multi life drawings whitewashed over graffiti walls. The process of time lap to capture each frame shows the skill and intensity of the artists involved in reproducing an animation with such cleverness. Muto

MUTO by BLU - A Wall-Painted Animated Short

    http://www.albotas.com/ 2008/ 05/ muto-by-blu-a-wall-painted-animated-short/

MUTO a wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo. This is probably the most amazing piece of animation that I’ve ever seen in my life. Each frame was actually painted on a wall which is a lot more intense that just drawings on a piece of paper. The video gets really crazy when the paintings start interacting with real-world objects.
