He called this model "cloudbursting".

Amazon Web Services Start-Up Challenge

I think it was a bit too niche-y, but I did get $25 in AWS credits, so that’s been a nice pile of money to play with and learn more about the system.

Mixture of thoughts on Chrome

If we don’t see the innovation from IE, can we bridge it somehow to allow it to gain mass market? IE plugins? Chrome uses WebKit.

RightScale Amazon Web Services Interface:RightAws 1.8.0 released with EBS support!
http://rubyforge.org/ forum/ forum.php?forum_id=26719A new version of the RightAws gem, 1.8.0, has been released and contains full support for Amazon's new Elastic Block Store (EBS). Via the RightAws::Ec2 module, users can create and delete EBS volumes, attach and detach them from instances, snapshot volumes, and list the available volumes and snapshots.
